Fishing at NPFC
Naughty Pines Fish Camp is located on Wegg Lake, on the English River System in NW Ontario, Canada. With boat access to 37 miles of waterway joining 7 lakes full of an excellent population of trophy Walleye, Northern Pike, Muskie, and Small Mouth Bass.
When you arrive at NPFC, our knowledgeable fishing guide will review with you in detail the English River System map. They will discuss in length the best fishing spots, structure, technique and navigation to provide you with a safe, fun-filled fishing adventure.
Your NPFC fishing package includes boat rental with marine gas for each 2-3 guests. A major discount will be applied if you bring your own boat and motor with marine fuel available for sale for your motor at camp. A limited number of Deluxe Boats are available for an additional rental cost. Deluxe rental boats include swivel seats, live wells, more comfort and speed, powered by 40-50-60 HP late model motors.
We provide you with your choice of live bait as we stock minnows and/or leeches and/or night crawlers. We also carry a variety of effective tackle to add to your box for your purchase in our lodge store .
NPFC has fishing guides that are available for hire. The fee is $100 per day per guest, serving a minimum of 2 guests. This fee includes a shore lunch for your enjoyment during your day afloat. The fishing guides will provide you with a long day of service, that is unless your arms get tired from reeling in all the big fish.
The camp has clean, comfortable, fish cleaning facilities with stainless steel tables. Fish freezing is also available to preserve your trophy or to store those you'll want to take home with you.
You will need to purchase your fishing license(s) before coming to camp, we recommend that you stop at Dutchie's Store located 40 miles north of Vermillion Bay. Don't forget to request a regulations book!
Youth guests up to age 18 may fish without a license, as long as they are fishing with a licensed adult. You may opt to purchase a license for a youth for the purpose of being able to possess the extra limit of fish.
Limits include the fish you have in the boat, plus the ones in the freezer, plus the ones eaten today. Keep in mind that the daily limit and possession limit are one in the same. (For specie specific limits link here Walleye, Northern Pike, Muskie, and Small Mouth Bass.)
